reference... A black-and-white tom with bright green eyes
appearance... Reedblaze's pelt is made up of large black and white patches. His eyes, set wide apart in his head, are a bright green. This deputy is average sized, but a bit weaker than most warriors -- his forte is intellect, not physical strength. Reedblaze walks with a slight limp that doesn't impede him much; he got it when an attacking badger was given a shove by another warrior and fell onto Reedblaze's (than Reedpaw's) hind leg.
personality... Reedblaze's strength lies in his intelligence and curiosity. He always wants to know more, and strives to find the best battle plans and hunting moves that will give his Clan the best advantage over the enemy. He's timid and would much rather watch than be in the center of a fight, and -- though he knows it doesn't make much sense -- respects cats who are bigger than him, even if he might be higher in rank.
history... Reedblaze was one of the three kittens born to Meadowflower and Swiftwind of RiverClan. His brothers, Flameshine and Badgerclaw, were bigger and sronger than him and often bullied him, causing him to be scared of cats who were larger than him. This fear decreased over the years, but there is still a hint of it there. At 6 moons old, Reedblaze was apprenticed to Lakeripple and quickly learned. When he was 8 moons old, badgers invaded the RiverClan camp and Reedblaze ended up with a broken leg. It was soon fixed, but he still has a slight limp. Soon, he was given his warrior name and was given his first apprentice soon after that: Thistlepaw. Unfortunately, Thistlepaw absentmindedly wandered onto the Thunderpath and was hit by a car. He died of blood loss, and Reedblaze mourned for him. Reedblaze's second apprentice, Owlpaw, learned slowly and was given his warrior name at 14 moons: Owlflight. At 26 moons, Basilstar appointed Reedblaze deputy.
