eleanor rigby, picks up the rice in the church, where a wedding has been lives in a dream, waits at the window, wearing the face, that she keeps in a jar by the door, who is it for? all the lonely people, where do they all come from? all the lonely people, where do they all belong?
A white flash zoomed out of nowhere, sending the moor scent to the ShadowClanner. It was some type of creature, but which creature would run to the Mothermouth and share secrets with StarClan? Who?
It was a white cat with frosty blue eyes, a small cat. Well, not so small, but quite small-medium for a tom. Its four legs were short and bulky like a ThunderClanner's, but still quite fast like a WindClanner. Long white fur was on its skin, covering the creature from the cold, but it's quite warm right now. Its eyes were a frosty blue, shining in the moonlight like glitter. Disgust and hatred was shining in the frosty blue depths, but there are many reasons why it is shown. A long, snake-like tail was flickering as it ran on its short bulky legs, ready to whip something. Its paws were small like a pebble, cold like snow and frost. Claws were sticking out, sharp and long like a shark's tooth almost. No muscle was on this creature's body (maybe a little), making the creature slender and long. Tall ears were on the white head, twitching as it heard some sounds on the way. Now, this was a male by its scent, but who is this cat?
Blizzardheart, medicine cat of WindClan.
He licked his small, round muzzle as he appeared in the scene, wondering if he was the first one here. There was a white pelt in front of him, sending off the musky ShadowClan scent to his pink nostrils. Ugh, the happy one, the WindClan medicine cat thought. He can't believe the other medicine cat is even a ShadowClanner, when that medicine cat is a happy, weird, ThunderClanner-like cat! And to think that I almost became friends with him when I first caught his scent. The white tom shuddered, his ears going down when memories came flowing in his mind. He flickered his tail and went to a nearby tree next to the mysterious Mothermouth, lying down in the shadows. A warm breeze past him, making his heart stop.
I hate Greenleaf.

mountainfrost *
The RiverClanner was the third medicine cat to arrive. Snowfall and Blizzardheart were already here, which was fine with her; she didn't like being the only one here when she was first to arrive. Acknowledging Blizzardheart with a flick of her tail -- she has never talked to him much, didn't understand his personality at all -- she padded over to Snowfall. "Hello," she meowed, automatically glancing back to see if Sparrowpaw had caught up yet before remembering that her apprentice hadn't come today -- she had decided to give her apprentice a break and let her relax in the camp.
[OOC: no Sparrowpaw please?]
vineleaf *
"Come on, Fernspirit," he called impatiently. His apprentice wasn't hanging very far behind -- Vineleaf didn't even bother looking back to check her place -- but he was in a bad mood today, and was even more inclined to argue than usual. Fernspirit's a great medicine cat, he brooded, but she can be a bit scatterbrained sometimes. That wasn't really true, actually; Vineleaf was just in the sort of mood where he decided that things were worse than they actually were. Glancing around at the other cats -- Snowfall, Blizzardheart, and Mountainfrost were all here. not Sparrowpaw, he noticed -- he hurried to the entrance to the deep, winding system of caves and tunnels that was Highstones. "We're all here," he said, stating the obvious. "Come on, let's get on with the meeting."

Black ears flicked impatiently as the medicine cat, her mentor, hurried her along. Vineleaf seemed strangely irritable today. Of course, he wasn't a pleasent cat to begin with, but he was starting to annoy her today. She moved faster and then stopped beside him when they reached the opening of the cave. A slight shiver rushed down her spine. Despite the fact she had come here before, the strangeness of the cave still got to her. She nodded shortly to each of the cats. She wanted to sit down, but she figured they would be heading down into the cave soon and thought better of it.

"Mm?" Snowfall had been looking at the ground, and raised his head sharply at Mountainfrost's greeting. "Oh. H'lo." He got to his paws and gazed around the area, wincing as he spotted Blizzardheart. Snowfall had never liked the tom much--he was very reminiscent of Sunsetstar, who'd been even more ferocious than Lightningstar or Finchstar or Cloudspots.
Upon hearing Vineleaf's utterance, Snowfall nodded slowly. "Yes, let's," he mewed, and trailed distractedly into the cave. Green-leaf was a pleasure, but tension was always in the air. Ever since that RiverClan warrior had died--wasn't she Sparrowpaw's mother?--worry had twinged inside the ShadowClan medicine cat. Something was threatening the Clans, he was sure.
Maybe just one cat, one brilliant and skilled cat, who had killed Eaglestar, Ravenstar, and Honeywhatever. Lark. Maybe there were two different groups of cats, hunting down the Clans. Maybe there were three or four pairs, with grudges against specific cats. But however many individuals or bands there were, there was danger in store for the warrior cats. Who knew what was happening?
Reaching the large white stone, illuminated brilliantly by the light of the moon, Snowfall curled up beside it. Pressing his nose to the cold rock, he drifted to sleep.

eleanor rigby, picks up the rice in the church, where a wedding has been lives in a dream, waits at the window, wearing the face, that she keeps in a jar by the door, who is it for? all the lonely people, where do they all come from? all the lonely people, where do they all belong? father mckenzie, writing the words of a sermon, that no one will hear no one comes near look at him working, darning his socks in the night, when there's nobody there what does he care? all the lonely people, where do they all come from? all the lonely people, where do they all belong?
The white tom watched the field in front of him as he waited for the other medicine cats to arrive. Impatience gnawed his stomach, and already he began to curse and bicker quietly to him. 'Where are those slow turtles!?' and 'Lazy, no-good pieces of mousedung!' Anger took over him, his eyes showing a fiery fury and his heart pounding faster than a Two-leg monster's running. A growl escaped his mouth as he buried his head into his small snowdrop-like paws, his tall ears twitching. Don't leave Blizzardheart hanging behind because he will explode and start to make chaos. He was about to stand up and even attack the poor ShadowClan medicine cat when he heard noises and scented some other scents.
RiverClan and ThunderClan scent.
A slender gray she-cat came out of the bushes, glancing around at the scene with her green orbs. When she caught Blizzardheart's face she flickered her tail in acknowledge to him and then went up to Snowfall. Blizzardheart didn't really understand why cats even bothered to send him a signal or so, but he flickered his tail back in acknowledge to the RiverClan medicine cat. He realized that her apprentice, Sparrowpaw, didn't tag along. The atmosphere will be a bit quieter, he thought, smirking. Then, another shape stepped out of the bushes - no, make that two. A gray tabby tom and a black she-cat behind him. Vineleaf and Fernspirit. And I thought there wouldn't be any apprentices coming here, so they can leave us old ones some peace and quiet! Blizzardheart snorted, licked his paw, and drew it over his white-furred head.
When Vineleaf said that they should go inside the Mothermouth, Blizzardheart let out a low snarl and rolled his eyes. 'Don't gotta tell us. What, you thought we were all just gonna sit here and do nothing like a bunch of mousebrains?' he said under his breath as he followed the medicine cats into Mothermouth, the second cat to go inside. When he saw the large, tall white rock, he take a sharp breath in and touched his pink nose to the rock, then drifted off to sleep.

mountainfrost *
Padding forwards, Mountainfrost entered Mothermouth. What a strange name, she thought as she hurried along in the dark. Mouth of the mother? What? Shrugging her shoulders, she gave a short, happy sigh. This was her favorite part of being a medicine cat -- being able to contact StarClan and meet them in her dreams. There was something so amazing about being able to talk with her dead ancestors. Like most Clan cats, she had never doubted StarClan's awesome power. She knew one or two cats just thought of them as dead cats, but they were more than that. They could walk in dreams, send prophecies, advise leaders... When she really thought about it, Mountainfrost realized that she kind of couldn't wait to join StarClan. It wasn't that she wanted to die, it was that to have that sort of power was just amazing. Well, she was a medicine cat; she already had power in her Clan. Nodding shortly, she calmed down and told herself that she'd just have to wait and live her life to the fullest until it was her time to die. Walking up to the glowing moonstone, Mountainfrost lay down, tapped her nose against the rock and fell into a dreamy sleep.
vineleaf *
Trotting into the winding maze of caves and tunnels, Vineleaf contemplated the other cats. They pretty much all had the stereotypical medicine cat personality -- caring, always willing to help and heal -- well, except for Blizzardheart. Vineleaf didn't know why he bothered to be a medicine cat, anyway; he couldn't figure out why such a rude, scornful cat would want to help injured cats. He snorted quietly in disgust and confusion. Vineleaf had finally reached the moonstone. Pressing his nose to the stone -- ow, so cold, he thought -- he drifted to sleep.

Fernspirit growled softly and flicked her tail angrily as Blizzardheart spoke. He was such a sour cat. She didn't like him all that much, so she just ignored his comments. She was the last cat to go into the Mothermouth tunnel, but she didn't mind. Her mind was filled with awe as she entered the cavern with the Moonstone. She crept up to the rock and laid down on her belly. She pressed her nose to the icy stone and drifted into sleep.

OOC: Vineleaf & Fernspirit respond to the Lightningstar post. Mountainfrost responds to the Ambershine post. Blizzardheart responds to the Eaglestar post. 'Kay?
LIGHTNINGSTAR --
The black tom raised his head and noticed a gray tabby and a black she-cat sitting together among the stars. Vineleaf and Fernspirit, he thought worriedly. Great. Time to deliver the doomsday prophecy. Watch them go crazy. I told you, Ravenstar, I told you they would misunderstand, but you never listen to me...
Drifting over to the two ThunderClan medicine cats, he began to chant in a soft but clear voice, his eyes glazing over.
"Darkness rises, many fall -- The enemy, ignored, betrayed, Shall strike and bring death to the forest, And from within shall another fiend conquer."
His muscles, previously tense, relaxed; his stare broke, his orange eyes no longer staring into oblivion; and he rose to his paws. Lightningstar looked sorrowfully at Vineleaf for a moment, then swiftly departed.
I told you, Ravenstar, I told you, I told you, I told you...and if I'm right I'll tell you that I told you twenty times over each day.
RAVENSTAR --
The black bi-color tom raised his head and noticed a white tom sitting among the stars. Snowfall, he thought worriedly. Great. Time to deliver the prophecy. They'll panic, of course, but they won't think it's the end of the forest. Lightningstar's just ultra-paranoid today.
Drifting over to the ShadowClan medicine cat, he began to chant in a soft but clear voice, his eyes glazing over.
"Darkness rises, many fall -- The enemy, ignored, betrayed, Shall strike and bring death to the forest, And from within shall another fiend conquer."
His muscles, previously tense, relaxed; his stare broke, his gold eyes no longer staring into oblivion; and he rose to his paws. Ravenstar gazed steadily at Snowfall for a moment, then swiftly departed.
He got the message, I could see it in his eyes...I only pray that he is not obliged to prove Lightningstar right.
AMBERSHINE --
The tortoiseshell she-cat raised her head and noticed a blue-gray she-cat sitting among the stars. Mountainfrost, she thought worriedly. No Sparrowpaw, but that doesn't really matter. It's time to deliver the prophecy, I suppose. I really hope Ravenstar is right about this...
Drifting over to the RiverClan medicine cat, she began to chant in a soft but clear voice, her eyes glazing over.
"Darkness rises, many fall -- The enemy, ignored, betrayed, Shall strike and bring death to the forest, And from within shall another fiend conquer."
Her muscles, previously tense, relaxed; her stare broke, her eyes no longer staring into oblivion; and she rose to her paws. Ambershine glanced understandingly at Mountainfrost for a moment, then swiftly departed.
Ravenstar, if you're wrong, I swear I'll kill you again.
EAGLESTAR --
The brown tabby she-cat raised her head and noticed a white tom sitting among the stars. Blizzardheart, she thought worriedly. He never was my favorite cat...I don't know why he was chosen as medicine cat apprentice. Ah, well; time to deliver the prophecy.
Drifting over to the WindClan medicine cat, she began to chant in a soft but clear voice, her eyes glazing over.
Eaglestar glared uneasily at Blizzardheart for a moment, then swiftly departed.
If Lightningstar is right, then we can only hope Cloudspots doesn't get wind of this and can plot with Heart in time for the attack.
SNOWFALL --
The white tom sat up with a jolt. Seeing Ravenstar had brought back not-so-happy memories of the leader's bloody, mangled body, lying on the forest floor, his gaze locked on the stars. Maybe he's talking about his killers...
An echo of the prophecy rang in his ears, causing him to shudder.
"Darkness rises, many fall -- The enemy, ignored, betrayed, Shall strike and bring death to the forest, And from within shall another fiend conquer."
Snowfall curled his lip, his eyes blazing with fear and worry. What if it was the end of the Clans? "Darkness rises, many fall" sounded pretty apocalypse-esque to him. "The enemy, ignored, betrayed" didn't make much sense to him, but the next line did: "shall strike and bring death to the forest" obviously meant a bunch of cats would die (basically a repeat of the first line). As for the last line...
Snowfall cried out softly, alarmed at the memory. "The end of the Clans," he choked out miserably. "The end of the Clans...another fiend conquering from within--a warrior taking over the forest!" His cold blue eyes clouded over with deep paranoia. We're doomed...we're doomed...

The white tom was in a dark place. So dark, darker than the night he knows. He stood up, his unknown blind eye having a decrease in sight in this darkness. No one knows about his left (or right, I forgot) eye, for it is blind a little and Blizzardheart doesn't want to show his weakness. He padded slowly on the ground, leading himself to nowhere. 'Where am I?' He swooshed around. 'I don't like it!' A growl escaped from his mouth, and then something made him stop in his tracks.
There was a faint outline of a broad-shouldered she-cat not so far away from him, and he saw her amber eyes, knowing it was his former leader, Eaglestar.
'Darkness rises, many fall -- The enemy, ignored, betrayed, Shall strike and bring death to the forest, And from within shall another fiend conquer.'
Her voice was softer and clearer than what he used to hear from her when she was alive, and for the first time worry gnawed at his stomach, along with some anger too. 'What do you mean 'shall another fiend conquer'? WindClan is strong and won't let any cat take over!' he shrieked in his dreams, and also in reality as he woke up.
He looked around, his tail around his paws and his head lowered, fur bristling with confusion and distrust. He saw the ShadowClan medicine cat awake, who was saying something like; 'The end of the Clans...' Shock was shown in Blizzardheart's frosty blue eyes and he bit his lips. 'You got the message too!?'

mountainfrost *
Mountainfrost sat among the tall trees of the StarClan forest. She looked around, jumping slightly in surprise as a starry cat appeared in front of her. Ambershine." She greeted the tortoiseshell she-cat warmly. "Do you have something to tell me?" Ambershine responded not with regular words, but with something that was clearly a prophecy. "What!" Mountainfrost cried in alarm, her blue eyes widening in shock. "Ambershine, what do you mean?" The StarClanner said nothing, only glanced understandingly at her for a moment, before fading away. Mountainfrost awoke with a start. "Did you all get the prophecy? What does it mean?" she asked worriedly.
vineleaf *
Vineleaf sat in the StarClan forest. It was no surprise when a cat appeared before him -- Lightningstar, his former leader. Dipping his head in respect, Vineleaf wondered what the StarClanner would say to him and his apprentice today. His fur bristled in shock as the leader whispered a prophecy. "But, Lightningstar!" Vineleaf cried in confusion. The star-frosted cat disappeared, and Vineleaf turned to his apprentice. "Fernspirit, we have to wake up. We have to discuss this with the other cats!" The gray tabby cat awoke to Snowfall, Blizzardheart and Mountainfrost all looking shocked and murmuring confusedly. "Did we all get the same prophecy?" Vineleaf wanted to know. He recited it, looking around at the others to see if they had received the same one. "Darkness rises, many fall -- The enemy, ignored, betrayed, Shall strike and bring death to the forest, And from within shall another fiend conquer."

The black she-cat shivered slightly as Lightningstar, previous leader of ThunderClan, approached. Her mouth fell open in shock and fear at his words. Shall strike and bring death to the forest. These words repeated over and over in her head, even as she awoke. All of the cats seemed to have recieved the same warning. Darkness was coming, an enemy ignored, death to the forest....She wanted to wail with despair, but she held it in. "What are we going to do?" she whispered, looking around at the older cats for help. She looked at her mentor. Vineleaf had to know what to do! So did all the other medicine cats! She was only an apprentice! "What are we going to tell everyone?" she repeated in a softer voice.

SNOWFALL --
"Yes! We did!" he shouted at Vineleaf, not caring how accurate he was being. The white-furred tom turned to face Fernspirit, blue eyes dark and fur more fluffed up than normal. "We won't tell everyone," he snapped, a mixture of panic and impatience rising in him. "At least, I won't. I'll just tell Lionstar and Ripplesplash! As for what to tell them, well, I'm being perfectly honest with them. The end of the Clans is probably coming, and it's only right to inform them."

Cats were waking up before his very own dark blue eyes. The medicine cats were shrieking and crying with worry, for they heard the omnious message too. Blizzardheart's ears twitched at all the intense tension in the atmosphere. The gray RiverClan she-cat was asking what to do in a worried tone, while the medicine cats of ThunderClan - well, really only Vineleaf - were reciting the bloody words of the prophecy. Snowfall was actually for once screaming his head off, and Blizzardheart was surprised/amused by the tone Snowfall was carrying. But his eyes went emotionless and cold when he heard the ShadowClan medicine cat's answer to the young Fernspirit;
'We won't tell everyone.'
'What do you mean we won't tell everyone,' the small-medium white tom snarled in his cold, venomous voice. He unsheathed his claws and began to walk around the worried medicine cats, disgust and shock in the frosty blue orbs he carries for eyes. He stopped at another white tom, glaring in his eyes. 'We must tell everyone! I don't think the leader and deputy should be the only ones to know about this. If this is the end of the Clans, then everyone must know. It wouldn't be nice to find yourself walking in the woods all vulnerable and the fiend attacks and kills you all of a sudden, when your own leader, deputy, and medicine cat knew that would happen. 'We must be ready for the fiend's attack, or else we will fall and the forest will be taken over by the flea-bitten, mousebrained, fox-hearted piece of dung (the fiend)! Don't you want to be ready? I do. We must warn our Clan. 'We must warn everyone.'

OOC: Just saying...while Blizzardheart might suspect a rogue attack, the way you worded your post made it sound as if he knows it's the rogues. I don't see how that would happen, seeing as the prophecy doesn't mention them and he probably only knows for sure that rogues killed Eaglestar (and maybe Ravenstar & Honeylark).
