appearance... Vineleaf's fur is light gray, with much darker tabby stripes, and his eyes are a pale amber. His size is average, but bordering on large; it's hard to specify. He is strong and, on his opinion, can fight as well as any Clan warrior -- though he is a medicine cat, as an apprentice he liked learning fighting moves just as much as he liked learning about herbs.
personality... Vineleaf tends to exaggerate, making the situation seem more life-threatening and scary than it really it. He knows that it's a bad habit -- and he doubt his Clanmates appreciate it much -- but continues to do it anyway. It's a habit he's had since kithood, and he sure won't change it now. Vineleaf is a rather scornful cat. He's never a bystander when two cats are having an argument, and would rather fight than talk. However, though he may have a mean side, he'll rarely ignore a request for help from a Clanmate.
history... Vineleaf was born to Larksong of ThunderClan and an unknown father -- Larksong never revealed who her mate was, but she swore that he was a ThunderClan cat. He knew he wanted to be a medicine cat nearly immediately; something about the healing herbs intrigued him. Vineleaf was apprenticed to Jaystep and learned quickly. He and his mentor, also a short-tempered tomcat, often got into fights and arguments, but they always managed to make up. Jaystep was killed only a moon or two ago in a battle with WindClan; he was on the side, waiting to heal and injured cats, when a WindClanner came up behind him and took his life.
