note: well, obviously olm is set in a different universe or whatever from the series. so, we need our own code. =D it's pretty similar to the series's code, just made more olm-y.
1. You must be willing to die for your Clan, your whole Clan, and nothing but your Clan. InterClan friendships must be overruled by Clan loyalty, and you should leave no Clanmate in danger simply because you do not like him or her.
2. Trespassing and hunting on other Clans' territories is forbidden; all Clans have every right to take action against trespassers and illegal hunters.
3. Queens and kits must be fed first, then elders, then the medicine cat and his or her apprentice, then the warriors, deputy, and leader, and lastly the apprentices. If you eat before you are supposed to, you will be asked to refrain from eating the next day and instead spend that extra bit of time hunting.
4. Prey is not to be wasted, or hunted for sport.
5. A kit cannot be younger than six moons when he or she is apprenticed, nor younger than twelve moons when he or she becomes a warrior.
6. New warriors, upon receiving their name, must keep a silent guard over the camp for one night. They are allowed to break their silence if trouble arises, but unprovoked speaking will not be tolerated.
7. A cat must have mentored an apprentice for at least three moons before being made deputy.
8. The deputy will take over from the leader when he or she dies or retires. The leader may change their deputy at any point in his or her leadership simply because he or she feels that his or her deputy was the wrong choice, even at the last second. However, they must use the right words, and both new and old deputies must witness the change, otherwise the old deputy takes over.
9. After a deputy dies or retires, a new one must be chosen by the next moonhigh. The deputy is typically chosen around this time, but can be chosen anytime before it.
10. The Clans shall meet every full moon. Their leaders shall announce their news, and they shall not fight. They shall leave when StarClan shows their disapproval by blocking the moon, or when there is no more news to be shared.
11. The borders of each Clan should be checked and marked every day. No trespassers should be ignored, and those who are not taken back to camp to deliver a message or get help should be driven off.
12. Kits in hazardous or painful situations must be assisted by any passing cat, no matter the kit's or warrior's Clan. Even rogue kits must be helped.
13. The word of the Clan leader should not be challenged openly; all disagreements with the leader should be settled privately. Cats who disobey or publicly challenge or mock their leader's orders or decisions should be punished according to the leader's orders, not any other cat's.
14. It is not necessary for a warrior to kill cats to win battles, but if it will save more lives, or is necessary for self-defense, or if the cat would not spare the life of the killer if in a position to do so or not, it is acceptable.
15. The lifestyle of kittypets is too soft for the way of a warrior. All parts of this lifestyle -- name, food, loyalty, daily schedule, beliefs, etc. -- must be rejected by every warrior, kittypet-blooded or not.
