appearance... Mistypaw's fur is mainly silver, with a black layer of fur running from the top of her head to her back. Her fur is thick, long and always neatly groomed and clean. Her eyes, large and focused, are a mix of blue and green. She's on the small side -- bordering on average, but still smallish. Dainty and pretty graceful, Mistypaw thinks of herself as beautiful.

personality... Mistypaw is always ready for an adventure, especially if it involves something that really shouldn't be done -- maybe it goes against the warrior code or it's something another cat wouldn't like -- whatever the reason is, as long as it's not supposed to be done, Mistypaw will do it. It's not that she just wants to break the rules, it's that she thinks it's fun and thrilling to do something that's not really allowed.
Mistypaw cares a lot about her appearance, so much that she's willing to take a dip in a stream to wash off -- she knows other cats might find that weird, but she says it's a good thing to do; in her experience, it keeps her fur cleaner than if she just cleaned and preened herself with her tongue. Her long silver-black fur is nearly always neatly groomed and dirt free. Even though some cats might think of her as superficial, she's really not.
Mistypaw gets upset easily. She doesn't have a short temper or anything, she's just insecure about how other cats think of her (that's one of the reasons she cares so much about how she looks). When she gets upset and ashamed because she thinks someone doesn't like her or something about her, this little she-cat has a tendency to run away and hide somewhere (like the apprentices' den or something) until someone comes and comforts her.

history... Mistypaw was born to a ThunderClanner named Appleleaf and an unknown tom. Her sister, Willowkit, died after birth, but other than that her life in the nursery was peaceful and rather boring (in Mistypaw's opinion, anyway) until one fateful day when she was nearly three moons old. Mistypaw and Treekit were playing outside in the camp when they spotted a tasty-looking berry outside Vineleaf's den. Being young kits, they didn't have the judgment to ask anyone about the berry, they just decided it looked good. Treekit gobbled it up, and Mistypaw watched, astounded, as the berry turned out to be fatal: it was a deathberry. Vineleaf tried as hard as he could to save Treekit, but he couldn't -- he was out of the camp when Treekit ate the berry, and by the time he had been alerted and brought back to the camp, it was too late: Treekit was dead.
Appleleaf, her mother, came down with greencough two days later. The sickness was horrible, and she became sicker and sicker until she died. Mistypaw, parent-less and sibling-less, was taken in by Honeywhisker, her friend Volepaw's mother. She and Volepaw (then known as Volekit) hadn't been great friends, but soon became best friends, along with Hawkpaw and Berrypaw, Volepaw's cousins.
Mistykit soon became Mistypaw, and her mentor is Ashwind.

Correction: Willowkit died after birth and Treekit died eating deathberries at three weeks (an age when it was more likely that the deathberry was left outside Vineleaf's den/the nursery because an apprentice brought one in accidentally).

Appleleaf, her mother, died of greencough two days later.

I could be wrong, but judging from the wording in Volepaw's bio, it was the greencough that came two days later, not the death.

Moving this back b/c I realized something.

Treekit's death - OK, I know I'm the one who told you to change it to three weeks old. However...at three weeks, Treekit and Mistykit would be still developing basic mobility, and would not yet have started eating solid food. They would certainly not be playing outside and eating berries. So either change the situation surrounding Treekit's death or bug Mystic to change the age at which he died.

I have seen this, and I have a question; when do they begin eating solid food/playing outside? I'll change this in Volepaw's history.
